Following on from the previous week, I continued to create 3D character models for the artifact, creating the Niamh and the Clockwork Trumpeter. I was also working on doing more with grease pencil, using it for the facial features of the characters. The idea was to animated the facial features of all of the characters using the grease pencil tool in Blender, to try make 3D animation feel more like 2D animation. I also created some prop items for the artifact in Blender and also created the layout of the shed interior.

I also thought more about what direction to take me research question, and was thinking along the lines of "How to make an appealing character with 3D & 2D techniques". The WiP presentation is coming up this week, so hopefully when I pitch my idea to the lecturers, they can give me some guidance on whether I'm on the right track with the question.
