Week 03: World Building

At the start of week 3, I wasn't sure what to do for the actual environment. I kept thinking it of choosing something like a street, or the interior of a house, but I felt they could have been a little too much to do and I'd be bogged down with the details of those spaces. Even when I was drawing the layout for the street idea, I constantly felt I needed to make sure you didn't see the end of any roads, so I had to put in extra corners and unsure sure of how much was too big/small for the road.

I then decided to go with the pirate ship idea. It allows me to be a little more creative, and I can have a bit more fun with the design. I started to draw up a few designs, and also searched online for inspiration for ships from 'One Piece', 'Pirates of the Caribbean'.

I took me a while to pick this because at first I was thinking about my final project in semester 4, and that is why I was fixed on doing a street at first. However, I didn't have the full idea laid out, and I was going back and forth between ideas. I thought in the end best to make something I can have fun with, like the pirate ship.
